Life in a bed

Well, no babies yet!
Today marks 33 weeks and the daily routine can now be expected; super sleepy in the morning and mid afternoon, contractions pick up to 7-9 per hour in the evening, a trebudiline shot around 9, ambien to sleep around 10:30. She'll probably start taking an oral dose of trebudiline at 7 pm and the doctors hope that will make everything settle down and make the night routine not so 'urgent'.

Right now, our goal it to Friday, that's when the new insurance will kick in. Then it's to 34 weeks, then 35. If she makes it to 35, her doctor might just take her of the meds and let them come if they so desire, but that's two weeks away.

All in all, things are as well as can be expected. Eszter is ok. Other than the sinus congestion, she has become pretty stable, yet it is still obvious that things are not right. Ashlee is bored as all-get-out, but when the occasional visitor arrives, she can't make it long without needing a break. The meds still have brought blurry vision and minor headaches, but she won't let it show.

Ash's parents went home on Sunday. Grandma Ruth was in the hospital again and is now in skilled care. She's not doing very well. My mom came out late Sunday night and is helping out tremendously. Eszter is having a blast too.

Happy birthday Uncle John! Sorry, not babies for your b-day!
