Happy Birthday Miss Eszter!

Eszter is now a really big girl. She has decided that she likes dogs now because she is three. To celebrate her birthday, we trekked out to California. We had a blast! On our way out we went to visit Great Aunt Roberta and she got to see Eszter and the babies. We made good time and met almost all of the family at Brooklyn Pizza (thanks Dad!) Grammie and Grampie Hill were both home on Friday, so they spent the whole day with Eszter at Irvine park. (One of Eszter's favorite places on earth) Eszter got to ride Rocky the pony, go the zoo, feed the ducks.... Bri and I got to go down to San Clemente to see Jamie DeVries at work. She works at a little crepe shop ON the beach. Gorgeous day. So nice to see Jamie and so nice to see the beach. Saturday we had quite the girls day. Eszter got all dressed up, had her hair in curlers, wore gloves and pearls... Grammie Francine, Auntie Kathe, Auntie Sara, Miss Claire, and I all went to High Tea in Tustin. Eszter got to drink tea from real teacups and ate all of the little finger foods. Brian got to see Jaime and his family while we were at tea. Saturday night Grammie and Grampie Cowell came over for dinner (a 22 lb turkey feast courtesy of Aunt Roberta's overflowing freezer) Sunday was the big day. We went to church in the morning at Friends. We truly love and miss that place. Then we scurried off in a frenzy to get the party ready. Eszter had decided she wanted a pink puzzle party, so pink puzzle party she had. (thanks for making the puzzle game Uncle Teffy) She had a blast. Thanks everyone, for coming. Monday morning we headed out, stopping at Uncle Nathan's to get adjusted (Thanks!) and met Josh and Emily and Seth for lunch. It was so great to see them. The twins did great the whole time and they are smiling and talking up a storm. Now all we need is a weeks worth of sleep.

(Bubble wrap - always a perfect gift)
