Sophia Grace was born at 6:09pm and weighed 5 lbs, 7.8 oz, 17.75" long.
Josiah David was born at 6:14pm and weighted 6 lbs, 7 oz, 19.75" long.
Ashlee did amazing! Sophia was vertex (normal position) and came out in the first set of 3 pushes. Josiah was breech and the doctors did great in helping Ash get Josiah out. Since he was breech, there was a lot of Doctor pulling and Mommie pushing. There was alot of pain, but the drugs eventually kicked in (enough)...after he was born!
They both breathed on their own and didn't need any special care! They are both nursing a little, and had a good first night.
